REGIO seat complies with demanding requirements for of crash testing and its construction exceeds strength standards prescribed by UIC standards. The enhanced robustness of the seat design guarantees a higher safety for passengers as well as maximum protection against intentional damage. For REGIO seat construction, BORCAD used for the first time a high-strength steel and was awarded with the Swedish Steel Prize 2012 for its implementation.
Owing to REGIO seat’s smart design, the mounting of seats and replacement of parts is very easy. Minimized number of seat’s components reduces demand for spare parts and operation with low maintenance costs.
