The potential of the department of development is utilised for the needs of the Borcad company.

In the first stages of the construction works, we create concept drawing studies and then computer 3D models, which allow us to discuss the real ideas of the customer about the future product. In the construction development stage, we use the Pro/ENGINEER CAD system. Continuous consultations with the customer help to clarify the optimum concept alternative of the developed product, which is then realized in the 3D models and consequently in functional samples. Product development takes place in cooperation with the design company JIŘÍ ŠPANIHEL DESIGN STUDIO. (www.spanihel.cz).

Borcad's department of development has the possibility of using computer simulations and analyses by the finite elements method in the Pro/Mechanica system.

We are capable of preparing graphic documentation for the purposes of production and for the target customer inclusive of translation of the text on the drawings and in the accompanying documentation.

Product testing is performed on the testing grounds of the BORCAD company and in specialized testing rooms in the Czech Republic and abroad. During the design of a new product, all prescribed norms in the areas of medical and railway technologies are duly respected. Within our testing processes, we are able to perform statistical tests, lifetime tests, temperature influence tests, etc.
