Delivery for a total of 182 Czech Railways cars, which the company operates in complete trainsets under the ComfortJet brand name.
In second class, you’ll find FLEXIO seats in blue fabric with faux leather headrests. In first class, you can find all-leather COMFORT seats with iconic red cushions. The car supplier is a consortium Siemens Mobility and Škoda Group. Deliveries took place from late 2022 to early 2026. The ComfortJet trains no longer feature a traditional dining car, but instead a modern bistro section with 18 seats (also supplied by BORCAD). A major advantage of the unit is that it has already been approved in seven European countries, which is why Czech Railways will also deploy it on the Vienna–Prague–Berlin–Copenhagen route.
