Largest investment into regional transport of the rapidly growing Warsaw agglomeration in last 25 years with BORCAD on board. Project of 61 five-car Stadler FLIRT EMUs with VISO seats and deliveries between 2019 and 2023. The train was first presented at TRAKO 2019 in Gdańsk, which was for a long time last significant trade fair in Europe before the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The train seating includes special folding seats for persons with reduced mobility (according to TSI PRM), and also a first appearance of VISIO family tip-up seats.
BORCAD prevailed over strong home-based competitors mainly by its complex design solution of seats and their low weight.
